ABOUT ME
Fitness has always been a part of my life. Growing up as a soccer player I realized the importance of being physically active, which is why I decided to get a degree in Exercise Science & Human Performance. After graduating from college, I landed a great, well-paying job in the oil field, but I sat in a truck for 13 hours a day which left me very unfulfilled. All I wanted to do was share my love for fitness and help people change their lives for the better! This eventually led me to a career in Personal Training, and I’ve never looked back. Since 2017 I have been working with clients who have a wide variety of goals, as well as teaching group fitness classes. My training style leans towards functional training that will not only make you stronger but also help you move better and be pain-free throughout your daily life. With that being said, I am also well equipped for clients who are looking for specific types of training such as powerlifting, sport-specific, CrossFit, weight-loss, Olympic weight lifting, bootcamp style, and rehabbing after an injury.
Why Humble but Hungry?
I honestly love having Humble but Hungry as my company name because this is exactly what I strive for, and what I encourage my clients to follow as well! Being humble means that you don’t flash your accomplishments or progress every day, you don’t fish for compliments, you don’t post shirtless selfies flexing on instagram, and you don’t post how early you are waking up to work out. Being humble means you quietly put in the hard work when no one is looking, you stay consistent, and you let people notice your accomplishments and progress for you. Staying hungry means that when you hit your goals, you make new ones, whether that is in fitness or life. It means you are always striving to be better, learn more, and lift others up alongside you. Working hard at your fitness and health can have tremendous benefits in every part of your life, and that’s what I am here for, to guide you through that. Work hard, be consistent, and stay humble but hungry.
